If you are considering Residency at Ridgewood for your loved one with memory loss, you can rest assured that they will live comfortably, securely, and safely. Safety and security are our #1 priority at Residency at Ridgewood, and we have built our entire facility around the safety of our residents. Our rooms dedicated to our residents with memory loss offer a comfortable stay while allowing each resident to have their independence and dignity while still having access to our 24/7 staff and services.
Our rooms that are available for those suffering from a memory loss disease such as Alzheimer's or dementia are known as Cottages. The Cottages rooms offer the same space as our assisted living Chalet rooms but are built with memory loss in mind. Each Cottage room will include a 318 square-foot floor plan and will include one bedroom and one bathroom. The only difference between our Cottages and any of our assisted living rooms is that the Cottage rooms will not include a kitchenette. Due to the nature of these illnesses, it is standard practice not to include kitchenettes in memory car rooms. Each Cottage room is outfitted with top-of-the-line furniture and linens to ensure that each resident is comfortable and has an enjoyable stay.

Since our community resides next to beautiful Lake Waco and our Cottage rooms have a cozy floor plan, the name Cottage fits it best.
